Refund policy
3 STEP RETURNS PROCESS
- Send an email to support@shadesolare.com requesting the form. Complete the returns forms detailing your email address, order number which begins with SS, item returned, and reason for return.
- If your order didn’t come with a returns form please use the link below to download a form.
- Upon receiving your returned package we will action your requested refund or exchange. You will receive either a dispatch confirmation or refund confirmation by email.
RETURN POLICY
If you are not fully happy with the goods you have received, you can return them to us within 14 days of receipt, providing they are in original resalable condition.
Once returned you will be entitled to receive an exchange or a refund, which will not include the cost of the original postage and packaging. We are not able to refund or exchange items that appear to have been worn, damaged, or are not in original condition.
- Please ensure you enclose a completed returns form with your order (if you do not have one, you can download a returns form here).
- Ensure your return is well packaged, and meets all the conditions outlined at the bottom of this page.
- Returns should be shipped with a service that provides a tracking number and insurance as we are not responsible for delayed or lost packages.
- Please make sure that your return has all the relevant information needed, such as your Order number, Name, and the reason for your return.
- Enclose the completed Returns form with your goods
Returns Terms and Guidelines
- All returned items must be unworn and complete with original tags and/or packaging if applicable.
- We are not responsible for the return shipping costs of the items.
- All Items must be in original, resalable condition.
- Please make sure all returned items are well packaged, so as not to be damaged in the post.
- When returning sunglasses, please ensure the box is protected with an outer packaging layer. The box is part of the product, therefore any damage may result in the return being refused.
- Please make sure all return packages are sent with a trackable, insured service.
- We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in the return transit.
- Please make sure that the returns form is enclosed with your goods - no form may result in your return not being processed.
Returns of Damaged or Defective Items
You may return any item that is damaged or defective within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Following an investigation into the complaint and a close inspection of the product(s) in question, once returned, by our Quality Control Department, we will issue a full refund for the amount paid at our discretion. We will endeavor to complete this process within one business week and will provide written notification once the refund has been issued.
Refunding Postal Expenses Incurred to Return Goods
If you are returning items because they have been received in a damaged or defective condition, we will refund your costs in returning the items.
Although we have stringent processes in place to prevent errors from occurring, such issues, although rare, do occasionally occur. If ShadesSolare sends any goods to a client in error, we will refund the postal fees incurred to return the goods.
Please be aware that should an item be sent in error, we respectfully request that it be returned prior to the dispatch of the correct replacement. We will, at our discretion, occasionally agree to dispatch the replacement item prior to the return of the erroneous product, as a gesture of goodwill. However, we do request that the unwanted goods be returned within 14 days thereafter unless alternate arrangements are made in writing prior to dispatch. Should a client fail to return the goods in question within the stipulated timescale, we will contact you in writing to request its return. Thereafter, we reserve the right to fully charge for the goods in question.
RETURNED GOODS; to avoid any customs charges. ShadesSolare is NOT responsible for any return custom charges made.
A refund will be issued back to the original method of payment for the merchandise returned. We require up to 10 business days of receiving the merchandise at the ShadesSolare London warehouse. Financial institutions may require additional days to process the refund before the funds are returned to the account. You will receive a notification from us once we have actioned a refund.
